How does Reiki work?
We are alive because the life force is flowing through us. Life force flows within the physical body through pathways called chakras , merdians & nadis. It also flows around us in a field of energy called aura (scientific name is bio-plasmic energy)
Life force nourishes our organs and every cell in our body supporting them in their vital functions.
When this flow of life force is disrupted, it causes diminished function in one or more of the organs and tissues of the physical body. The life force is responsive to thoughts and feelings.
It becomes disrupted when we accept, either consciously or unconsciously, negative thoughts or feelings about ourselves. These negative thoughts and feelings attach themselves to the energy field and cause a disruption in the flow of life force. This diminishes the vital function of the organs and cells of the physical body.
Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. In so doing, Reiki clears, straightens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way.
Do All Healers Use Reiki?
All healers use life force or Ki, but not all use Reiki.
Reiki is a special kind of life force that can only be channeled by someone that has been attuned to it.
There are lots like Quantum touch , EFT , Pranic Healing , Theta Healing even yoga etc. but Reiki is probably the best one known.
However, most healers who have not received the Reiki attunement from a Reiki Master are not using Reiki but another kind of life force.
Are there any side effects from a Reiki treatment ?
Because Reiki is guided by the higher-consciousness, it can never do harm. It always knows what a person needs and will adjust itself to create the effect that is appropriate for them. One never need worry about whether to give Reiki or not. It is always helpful.
In addition, because the practitioner does not direct the healing and does not decide what to work on, or what to heal, the practitioner is not in danger of taking on the karma of the client. Because the practitioner is not doing the healing, it is also much easier for the ego to stay out of the way and allow the presence of the higher power to clearly shine through.
Can Reiki Ever Cause Harm ??

How does this work?
Reiki healing is one amongst all the energy healing modalities & Distance Healing Sessions or Sendings are an alternative method for receiving a Reiki session , where the Reiki master & the client are not in the same location.
Distance healing even though the term is new, the method is not new. This existed for ages. Reiki distance healing represents the ability to transfer the universal life force energy in time and space. You can do so for another person and even for past or future events.
They could be hundreds of miles away, but it makes no difference. The Reiki energy will go to them and treat them.
This may be done over the phone or at a special time set aside and agreed upon between you and the healer , also via apps like zoom , google meet etc.
Where does Reiki Energy come from?
Reiki energy is a subtle energy. It is different than electricity or chemical energy or other kinds of physical energy.
Reiki energy comes from the Higher Power, which exists on a higher dimension than the physical world we are familiar with. When viewed clairvoyantly, Reiki energy appears to come down from above and to enter the top of the practitioners head after which if flows through the body and out the hands.
It appears to flow this way because of our perspective.
However, the true source of Reiki energy is within ourselves. This does not mean that we use our personal energy when we do Reiki, but that the energy is coming from a transcendental part of ourselves that is connected to an infinite supply of healing energy.
Can Reiki Cure Anything?
Reiki isn’t a cure-all for anything.
Reiki does not directly cure diseases or illnesses. Instead, it’s used as a way to manage symptoms and improve general well-being.
Reiki speeds up the body’s innate ability to heal and restores the body to its optimum self-healing capacity.
It follows the Principle of Self- Recovery -This principle refers to the natural ability within every living creature to heal itself.
And The Principle of Life Force - The body’s natural healing ability can be accelerated by increasing the life force within.
It’s a complementary or alternative health approach.
It instead assists to help create a relaxation response and assists to promote a mind-body state conducive to healing. Curing involves alleviating symptoms and treating physical causes of a health condition. Reiki healing involves spiritual, emotional and mental unblocking and re-balancing to help get to the root cause of a condition, get back on track and create an optimal environment in which for the body to heal.
Granted, dissolving the root cause of a condition can definitely alleviate symptoms and physical conditions, but they were ameliorated in a different manner than curing provides.
The answer is simply yes. Remember that, at a very basic level, we are all made out of energy and information that manifest into matter.
Our thoughts are no different. Therefore, we have the ability to project them in time and space using intention.
The same mechanism applies to Reiki distance healing. It’s a process that facilitates the transition of a certain goal, person, or event into a state of healing. Of course, this “healing” can mean various things for different people, but the idea stands
Even though the transfer happens in an instant, the effects take time and perseverance to manifest. At it's core, thoughts and intentions manifest at the energetic level. This means that the physical principles we live by every day don’t apply in these dimensions.
Does Reiki Distance Healing Work & How?
In your work as an energy healer, how do you know when you’re detecting karma?
Usually the person will report a relationship or situation in their life that’s giving them difficulty. They’ll have a lot of emotion about it. It will be dramatic, and it will seem very unfair. They’ll feel targeted or very victimized by a group, misunderstood or not heard. Their emotional reaction will be kind of out of proportion or just very extreme for the situation, and I can usually feel a heaviness or a sluggishness in their field, and a musty old smell. It’s an old pattern sitting in their field. Karma can pull us off of our path. It’s very dramatic, and it’s easy to get sucked into its pull. If we can learn to recognize karma for what it is and recognize how it comes up in our life and stand witness in compassion, then we have a much better chance of staying on our path.
